TEST RESULTS

Executive Suammary

Beginning March 7, 1996, OMNI Environmental Services conducted emissions testing on the Buckley Rumford 30-inch fireplace to demonstrate compliance with Washington State UBC Standard 31-2(WAC 51-30-31200 section 3102.5.4). The fireplace was assembled and tested at OMNI's solid fuels testing laboratory in Beaverton, Oregon in two configurations; one with glass combustion chamber doors in place and closed, the other with the glass combustion chamber doors removed. No hearth grate or draft inducer was used in either configuration. The primary participants of the testing were Paul Tiegs, Senior Principal of OMNI and Jacob Tiegs, Laboratory Technician.

The results of the tests are summarized in Table 1. Particulate emission factor results are less than the Washington State standard of 7.3 g/kg.
