Emervex, our chimney top fan provider, recommends their largest RS016 fan for a see-though with openings of up to 36"x36" on each side. And that fan will pull 1,900 cfm through the chimmey. For larger see-through or multi-sided fireplaces an engineered system involving multiple flues and multiple fans pulling prodigious amounts of air through the chimney might be designed. Enervex does offer a limited guarantee - if within six months, if the fan doesn't make the fireplace draft, they will refund the purchase price of the fan. That still doesn't make the fireplace work and so we still don't recommend see-through or multisided fireplaces. Build two back-to-back Rumford fireplaces instead.
