Hello, I'm the proprietor of Rick Vanderham Stoneworks in British Columbia, Canada, currently listed as a Rumford fireplace builder in your links page to Rumford builders.

I had built a Rumford fireplace in 2001 for a client in Whistler, B.C. and at some point after that I had submitted my info to your site probably a year or more afterward. I was trained in stonework by Peter Spitzer Contracting on about five of Matheo Durfeld's projects and I learned the brick ovens in 1995 from Ernest Heuft in Vancouver, who was a temporary instructor at Kwantlen College's masonry program at the time and hired me to help with a commercial bagel oven in North Vancouver and another project after that. I feel I was very priveleged in connecting and learning from such fine craftsmen.

I would appreciate a listing with the info I gave you and if you could mention the brick oven building as well. Thank you very much.
