Second Rumford

Here are some shots of the two Rumfords I built with my father, mid 80`s. About 25 foot, 12x12 flue chimneys. Fresh air supply, one in floor, other in side wall, both have their problems. Damper is thick steel plate with pin at each end that rotates in a masonry hole (homemade). Throws a fair amount of heat.
