Jim,

Well, I finished my Buckley-Rumford fireplace. I began the demolition phase in January 2003 and lit the first fire around Labor Day 2003. We are very happy with the way it turned out. It has never smoked and it reflects heat into the room very well. And, it looks great and my friends even admit it . We certainly appreciate all the help you gave us in its design, both from the web and from emails. With your help I was able to produce exactly what I wanted. I have enclosed only two many pictures. I know my work is not as perfect as yours but I can overlook that detail. Thanks for taking on the challenge of reviving and promoting the Rumford design.
