From: "Ian Rutherford" To: "Jim Buckley" Subject: new 36 inch Rumford Date: Fri, 2 Jul 2004 Hi Jim, I had emailed you a couple of times last winter regarding the installation of my new fireplace, which is now all done. I'm very happy with the outcome and wanted to thank you for your advice on finding a mason (Jack from Tanke Masonry was awesome). I think the final outcome complements my 1907 house very well. The only small negative aspect is the outside air intake being so highly visible...I guess one day I could remove this and either move it to a more discreet location or just firebrick it in....codes, what codes? Feel free to use any of these photos if you wish.
