It has been a while since we have spoken, this is Jim Plankey from South Hero, Vermont. I want to thank you for all your help in regards to the questions I had while building my first 42"x42" Rumford fireplace. Your expertise and website was of great value. The fireplace turned out wonderful, and is the most impressive project I have completed to this date. Everyone that has had the pleasure to admire the fire has been overwhelmed with the beauty of the rumford design. I am also overwhelmed with it's beauty and also the great amount of radiant heat that is generated. It is nice to enjoy a fire along with the fact that the fireplace is generating radiant heat.
