12/1/18 Our Christmas party and colonial reenactment was today here in Mansfield, Ohio. Our cabin and our Rumford was decorated for the day's festivities. That is me, Robert C. Noble, in the white shirt and parson's hat. Kathleen Addlesperger, is on the right. We cooked and heated food in the bread oven, including making cornbread, and the Rumford was used to cook a 22 lb. turkey, make gravy, and heat our cider. The hearth crane was blacksmithed by my hand. The Rumford was marvelous and performed extremely well. Merry Christmas to all! More pictures may come if we have any showing our fireplace decorated for Christmas.
