Hi Jim,

I figured out why the LP burner was burning in the air mixing unit as we discussed the other day. The reason was because there was back pressure due to the depth of the volcanic ash I had on the burner unit. I leveled the ash across the burner at about 1 inch thick and this reduced the back pressure allowing the burner to pull in more air. It now works very well, thanks again for your help in thinking this problem through.
