Seventeen Year Old Rumford

12/31/14 Good Morning, You helped with some drawings and great phone help when I built my Rumford Fireplace. It was around 1997 or 1998. I bought the components from Superior Clay through a local brick supply house. I bought the throat, smoke chamber, and damper assembly. It has worked beautifully over the years. [Needs a repaired or new damper] Thanks so much for getting back to me, I so appreciate it. For a number of reasons I am leaning toward a chimney top damper .... I will send along some images of the Rumford I built. It was a lifelong goal and you helped me achieve that. It was a thrill. Every time I have a fire I take a great deal of pride and satisfaction. I have to say you gave me a great deal of confidence in what I was doing at the time I built it. I could not believe that you would help me. I'll never forgot it.
