From: Kevin Haley Subject: Rumford pictures Date: March 15, 2008 To: Jim Buckley Dear Jim, I wanted to send these photos along with my sincere thanks for all your help last spring while I was planning and building my Rumford. We have been renovating our old farmhouse in North Idaho and I have been fixated on having a Rumford ever since I saw a "This Old House" segment years ago about them.

My wife and I have done all the work on the house, plumbing and electrical included and I was determined to take on the Rumford. I had never laid a brick before this project and consequently it took a great deal of research and time to complete, but my proudest moment came at the final inspection when the inspector said it looked like a professional had built it. Needless to say ,we love it! The best part is the watching peoples reactions to it and explaining the history. Again I say thanks for all your help. I could not have done it without your guidance.
