I entered into the chimney business in 1977 as a sweep in the old Beacon Hill
and Back Bay sections of Boston. These old mansions and brownstones were loaded
with Rumford's. I got infected with the style and performance of these systems
and ultimately began building them around 1980. To date, I don't know how many
we have done, but they are many. We specialize in Rumford fireplaces, Masonry heaters
and wood fired ovens,etc. Our style is tight jointed and most of our stone work has a
dry laid look. All and all, we build an awesome Rumford.
