Hi Jim,
Just thought I'd pass along a link to the pictures of our newly completed 36" outdoor Rumford.
I'll be posting a few more day time photos soon and will send you a note when I do.

Feel free to use whatever pictures you'd like including the link to the
website.
I did the basic design myself but the Rumford was actually built by:
Blue Water Pools and Spas, Upland CA
Their masons had built many "normal" outdoor fireplaces but never a
Rumford. It took a bit of convincing on my part but I think the
instruction booklet supplied with the throat settled all fears. I also
provided them with an episode of Bob Villa's Home Again where you
demonstrated the building of a Rumford. Very helpful!
The engineering work was done by Pool Engineering Inc., Anaheim CA
As for the mismatched smoke chambers, Mitch at McNear sent me a
replacement. The first one arrived broken but Mitch quickly sent out
another.
Enjoy,
Jeffrey D Sessler
Hi Jim,
Just wanted to let you know that I put up some additional pictures of our Outdoor Rumford. They are on the last page and are not as dark as the origianl ones and you'll probably find one of them more suitable for display on your site.
The URL to reach the out phot album has also changed from what you have listed on your site. The old URL will continue to work but the permanent "new" address is: http://pages.scrippscollege.edu/~jeff/rumford
