Hello Jim,

Just a note to let you know the Rumford is one of the best investments I could ever have made. With LP gas prices the way they are, I would really be in "hot water" without the assistance of the fireplace. Our 48" really heats up! We added it to assist in our heating needs but really never knew how well it would work until now.

Still satisfied after all these years.

And, form 1997....

I have just completed building one of the Rumford designs. The 48" one to be exact. The first fire was held last night and it was beautiful. Warm and cozy just like the pictures. Everything went as planned. Block and brick were laid smoothly and the instructions were good. I had never done anything like it before, not being a mason. But it is very rewarding work.

Only one gripe. Some of the clay products weren't as uniform as I thought they might have been. Had to adjust some of the construction to make them fit. But fit they did!

Just a note from a satisfied customer!

Thanks,

Scott Kittinger
