Date: Sun, 22 Jan 2006 From: Charlie Beatty Subject: Our Rumford 48 To: Jim Buckley When we were building our "not so big house" house, one of the bigger decisions (among what seemed like thousands) was the fireplace. The plans called for standard prefab 36" fireplace. After finding your site on the Internet and talking with you (this was in 2002) we decided to go with a 48" Rumford for our main room (30x20). Needless to say we love it! I have never seen such a good drawing and radiant fireplace. We now enjoy calling our house the "not so big house with the so big Rumford!"
